Astronomical telescope of Galilée
Galileo's glasses are two astronomical glasses built by Galilée *, intended for the observation of the sky. It reveals that the moon had craters, mountains and seas; Jupiter reproduced a miniature solar system and the Milky Way made of stars.
The myth: in 1609 Galileo would have built the telescope that would have allowed him astronomical observations fruitful. This is incorrect! Indeed, he did not invent this telescope but vented it deceptively. The bezel with concave and convex lenses remains his in the eyes of the golden legend, resulting from a discovery made in a workshop of Dutch opticians in 1608. Galileo procured a copy and was content to improve .
And yes, the credit goes to Kepler *.
